The short version
We count basic, anonymous activity — like how many times a business profile is viewed or how many people tap a Call or Directions button — so business owners can see that their listing is reaching people. We do not track who you are, where you came from, or what you do elsewhere on the web. We also store the listing details and contact information that businesses choose to send us through our forms. If you ever want your information removed, email us at hello@suuqlinks.com and we'll take care of it.
Anonymous usage analytics
When you browse SuuqLinks, we record a small number of events to understand how listings are performing. These include things like a profile being viewed and contact actions being tapped — Call, Directions, Website, and social links.
For each event, all we store is which business it relates to, what type of action it was, and the time it happened. That's it. We do notstore your name, email, IP address, device identifiers, browser fingerprint, or location. Because we never keep anything that points back to a person, these counts can't be tied to you and we can't build a profile of you.
To avoid counting the same browser as a brand-new visitor every time, your own browser remembers (using its local storage, on your device) that it has seen a profile before. That marker stays on your device and is never sent to us as anything other than an anonymous “new” or “returning” tag with no identity attached.
Information businesses submit
When someone adds a business through Add a Business or tips us off through Suggest a Spot, we store what is entered so we can review and publish the listing. This can include the business name, category, address, city, phone number, website, social links, a description, an optional logo, and the name and contact details of the person submitting it.
Business listing details (name, category, location, contact info, and similar) are meant to be public — that's the point of a directory. The contact details of the person who submits a form are used only to verify the listing and reach out if we have questions. We don't sell this information or use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
SuuqLinks does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't follow you across other websites. The only local data we rely on is the simple “seen before” marker described above, which lives in your browser's storage on your own device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
How information is stored
Listings and the anonymous event counts are stored with our hosting and database provider so the site can function. We keep information only as long as it's useful for running the directory, and we remove listings or submissions on request.
Your choices and removal
If you submitted a business or your business is listed and you'd like it edited or removed, just ask — email hello@suuqlinks.com and we'll update or delete it. You can also reach out with any question about what we hold or how it's used.
Changes to this policy
As SuuqLinks grows, we may update this policy. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you're okay with the current version.
